Bookworm’s Beach Books: Summer 2013

Some bloggers post wish lists for their house or wardrobe – well, Bookworm is posting her beach book “wish list”. Summertime and vacations make me look forward to beach, pool, and lake time.  Lounging with a great “beach book” and cold drink next to the water is the always relaxing  However, moms like me, we know that there isn’t much too much beach reading when chasing and swimming with young kids at the beach! I figure there are many years for relaxing poolside, and I’ll enjoy the fun of jumping in the waves for now. But, if I had an unlimited budget and open lounge chair, here’s a list of great beach books for this summer.

How do you classify “beach books”?  For me, I love a book that has great descriptions and characters; if I can jump right into the plot and read it in a few days, I consider it a beach read.
